This service covers the cost of parts and labor to recover up to 1TB of data as well as a new storage device with your recovered files.

  • Under some circumstances such as scratched/damaged platters inside your drive, it may not be possible to retrieve your files.
  • If we're not successful in recovering your files, you will receive a full refund.
  • Once data is retrieved, you will receive a new hard drive with your recovered file
  • If drive is unrecoverable and you'd like your original drive back, $20 will be deducted from the refunded amount to cover return shipping
  • A technician will remain in constant contact with you and keep you updated throughout the recovery process.

 

       * Additional data over 1TB will incur additional cost at $100 per Terabyte *

 

        * If hard drive had been previously opened or repair attempted, an additional $100 will be added to the total recovery cost *

 

Please note, though the price seems high, it's much lower than any other cleanroom lab would charge AND it includes shipping back to you, all parts needed to repair the drive for recovery as well as a new drive to put the recovered files on.

It is extremely important that your drive is packaged carefully to avoid any additional damage during shipment. Careful packaging will ensure a greater degree of recovery of your data.

If possible, wrap the drive in an anti-static material. 
Pack the drive in a box twice the size of the drive, using foam, bubble or any anti-shock / vibration material.
Please fill out the evaluation from as thoroughly as possible, print it, and include a copy of your package.

 

  • Please note:  We will not be responsible for packages lost in transit whether coming to us or going back to you.  

If customer requests, we will keep a copy of the recovered files on our server until the customer verifies receipt of the package and then the files will be securely erased from the server
